Labor and Birth Care - Home Birth

Supporting Mother through labor and birth the way that is most beneficial and comforting to her individually

Monitoring Mother's vital signs

Postpartum visits for mother and baby are scheduled for 24-48 hours, 3-4 day visit for your newborn screen, a 2-3 week followup and a 6 week visit
Postpartum care visits include evaluating mother's physical and emotional well-being, answering any questions and providing breastfeeding support as needed or desired and monitoring baby for normal weight gain and growth, feeding patterns, jaundice, & overall well being
